Top dental technologies at Serenity Dental in Spokane Valley include:
CEREC® Same-Day Dental Crowns
Serenity Dental offers same-day crowns with CEREC. Dental crown restorations are custom-crafted right here in our Spokane Valley dental office and placed on your tooth in just one visit, thanks to computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies.
Your same-day dental crown treatment will begin with a comfortable digital impression, using our handheld, wand-like digital scanner. This technology allows us to take a fast, accurate 3D impression. As soon as our team takes an impression of your tooth, we'll be able to custom-craft and place your new dental crown.
The construction of your same-day crown is completed here in our Spokane Valley dental office with a CEREC® machine that uses the 3D image of your tooth to carve a piece of ceramic material into the exact shape of your replacement tooth. Your crown will always be closely shade-matched to your surrounding teeth, and will be custom-shaded and glazed to ensure an ideal aesthetic and functional fit.
The function and lifetime of traditional and same-day crowns are the same as a traditional dental crown; meaning the only trade-off you make when you receive a same-day crown as opposed to a traditional crown is not having to come back to our office for a follow-up visit!
Fully Guided Dental Implant Workflow
For our dental implant patients, our Guided Implant Surgery system offers our providers a significant advantage when we are performing dental implant placement surgery, allowing us to place implants with exceptional accuracy and stellar success rates.
At our Spokane Valley implant center, the X-Guide works in unison with cone beam 3D imagery to give us a live video overlay of the jaw, bone, and teeth, as well as drilling tools in relation to them. The X-Guide shows us the exact angle, depth, and placement of every action we take in your mouth in real time. This gives Dr. Weston the ability to precisely control the placement of every implant procedure we perform.
We invested in X-Guide to provide a higher implant success rate, enhanced dental implant placement out comes, and happier patients overall! It can also improve the recovery process for our tooth replacement patients. Patients who have dental implants placed using the X-Guide system can often achieve faster and smoother recovery results than patients who undergo implant placement without surgical guidance.
3D Imaging for Orthodontics
With the application of computer technology and custom manufacturing, Invisalign® treats a broader range of cases with greater precision.
Invisalign® uses 3D computer imaging technology to formulate and present the complete treatment plan, from the initial position to the final desired position. Based on this plan, a series of custom-made clear "aligners" are produced. Each "aligner" moves teeth incrementally and is worn for about two weeks, then is replaced by the next in the series until the final position is achieved.
Digital X-Rays
Thanks to modern digital imaging technology, X-rays no longer require film or a long development processes. At Serenity Dental in Spokane Valley, we've invested in the latest digital X-ray technology to make the process even faster!
Our team offers digital x-rays and intraoral scanning to capture detailed, comprehensive images of the teeth, roots, and surrounding structures and gather all the information needed for your treatment plan. Digital x-rays also emit 90% less radiation compared to traditional x-rays, providing a safer experience for our patients. X-ray images are also available instantly and are shared electronically, so our team can receive your images faster at Serenity Dental!
